The early UFCs did have a lot of really bad talent, but that's also kind of where martial arts was at the time. Royce's BJJ was pretty rudimentary in retrospect. There were some beasts back then though. Ken Shamrock, Oleg Taktarov, Kimo...there were some guys back then that knew how to fight and were athletes as well. But you're right there were a lot of scrubs too.
Wrestling, by far. No one knows how to defend body slams in the streets, no one knows how to get up once they're down.
most people ain't gonna be able to slam some body most bigger than them, but if they shift like Tyson they can easily knock them out with a clean shot
Walk into someone face with your hands in your pockets breh.
And coming from a red belt in TSD and Brown Belt in TKD unless you run into Ben Askren or some shyt you better have good hands. I boxed too. Did Judo.
You don't want to be on the ground in a real life or death situation. But all arts have pluses or minuses.
But....hands and head movement first.
lmao bj penn got damaged in a street fighter with a bouncer doing some ground shyt lmao
Stop it with this super shyt man lmao, MMA RULES HELP GRAPPLERS
Mayoga did an MMA match and was disqualified but he elbowed a nikka in his back when they were on the ground
Going to the ground in a fight is not a good idea, not in the streets, you can knock yourself out taking somebody down trying to wrestle lmao, you can be tussle on the ground and somebody can grab a rock and bash your head with it, you can get hit in back of the head, the back of the neck etc
MMA rules protect grapplers its not real fighting man
It's like you wanted to talk shyt to agree with me.
I said you don't wanna be on the ground IRL.
The fukk are you rambling about?
Real fighting? UFC, Bellator etc is a sport with rules.
I'd bite (pause) someone throat off in a life or death situation.
You said unless you run into a ben askren nikka lmao, ben askren would get washed in a street fight, a nikka with no training can scoop Askren up like lawler did and slam him on the concrete
