Wrestling, by far. No one knows how to defend body slams in the streets, no one knows how to get up once they're down.

The early UFCs did have a lot of really bad talent, but that's also kind of where martial arts was at the time. Royce's BJJ was pretty rudimentary in retrospect. There were some beasts back then though. Ken Shamrock, Oleg Taktarov, Kimo...there were some guys back then that knew how to fight and were athletes as well. But you're right there were a lot of scrubs too.

I liked early ufc cause there wasn’t any focus on styles or weight classes. Come into the ring and the best man won.

Big fan of Tank Abbot. Forgot the little Brazilian dudes name and that beat his ass and made him tap out in like a minute tho. Even tank had to dap him up after that one

Ain’t readin this cac shyt! If you been in the streets, county or prison it’s boxing! You’ll get a “one on one” but once you start that molesting you either let him up or you’re gonna get stomped until you foam at the mouth. :hubie: FOH

90% of people freak out like a deer in headlights when they get rocked in the face.

If you nice with the hands then you going to fukk people up on the street.

The 10% of motherfukkers who can move around and take a hit is going to be a problem if they can take it to the ground good.

I'll take option 1.

All 3 unless you getting jumped by 2 big ass esses in which case u gonna need boxing.

Started my son with boxing before grappling.

Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling require solid conditioning if youre facing a real threat. I feel like boxing can carry you into old age better then wrestling if you become flabby

most people ain't gonna be able to slam some body most bigger than them, but if they shift like Tyson they can easily knock them out with a clean shot

Walk into someone face with your hands in your pockets breh.

And coming from a red belt in TSD and Brown Belt in TKD unless you run into Ben Askren or some shyt you better have good hands. I boxed too. Did Judo.

You don't want to be on the ground in a real life or death situation. But all arts have pluses or minuses.

But....hands and head movement first.

lmao bj penn got damaged in a street fighter with a bouncer doing some ground shyt lmao

Stop it with this super shyt man lmao, MMA RULES HELP GRAPPLERS

Mayoga did an MMA match and was disqualified but he elbowed a nikka in his back when they were on the ground

Going to the ground in a fight is not a good idea, not in the streets, you can knock yourself out taking somebody down trying to wrestle lmao, you can be tussle on the ground and somebody can grab a rock and bash your head with it, you can get hit in back of the head, the back of the neck etc

MMA rules protect grapplers its not real fighting man

It's like you wanted to talk shyt to agree with me.

I said you don't wanna be on the ground IRL.

The fukk are you rambling about?
Real fighting? UFC, Bellator etc is a sport with rules.

I'd bite (pause) someone throat off in a life or death situation.

You said unless you run into a ben askren nikka lmao, ben askren would get washed in a street fight, a nikka with no training can scoop Askren up like lawler did and slam him on the concrete

Lawler is a former high school All-American wrestler and been a damn pro since he was like 19 and a former UFC and Elite XC champ.

Joe Blow at BWW is not beating up Askren a former Olympian wrestler.

Lima
Koreshkov
Lawler

Couldn't sleep him street fight or not. World class dudes who's only objective was to tear his head off. Todd the accountant is not TOUCHING Askren.

Ain't you the Venom Page bootlicker? You got no cred after that Lima debacle. Complementing his ground game vs non wrestling Daley :mjlol:. You ain't say "yeah it's a toss-up" you straight up said he'd serve Lima based on that mediocre ass lucky win. Lima ain't been KO'd since like his 3rd pro fight.

Then got the nerve to call this lucky

fukk do you know anyways?

This question should really be

What’s your favorite way to fight? You run into anyone untrained vs a trained dude in a fight the untrained one is getting damn near kilt

Id say muay thai. First of all being on the ground in a street fight leaves you vulnerable, secondly, boxing is useless once someone closes distance on you, with muay thai you have clinchwork, knees, elbows throws and trips for that.
This is a street fight were talking about, not a sanctioned match.
