Stupid posed question. Is the one on one in a fair fight? A melee with a bunch of people? Are the opponents around th same size?

Kinda depends on how many people are involved. . If it's 1& 1 bjj , if more than 1 you'd be safer on your feet

Boxing, easy. All starts fight standing up.

It takes a fraction of a second to enter a boxing stance. Quickest safest and easiest way to neutralize a threat no matter where you are.

Wrestling Bjj are great tools, but they dont protect you from the unpredictability of a street fight. Most of em take place where theres alcohol i.e a club, lounge or a bar. That means theres chairs, tables, people, everywhere. You can only be so effective on the ground. And even if you do get on the ground, now youre vulnerable when his crew jumps in and stomps you the fxck out. Or worse, when your opponent slips out a weapon and carves you up (ive seen it happen). Also you have to worry about getting your opponent to the ground in the first place. You dont have to be a trained professional to avoid a takedown... You simply just need good balance and reflexes. And if your opponent has those then youre in for a struggle.

Balance and reflexes wont save you from a trained boxer/kickboxer. One combo and the fight is over.

Muay Thai or boxing and a weapon art/skill like Kali.

I got no interest fighting anybody out in public but something like Muay Thai or boxing does help if you need to drop someone quick and get away before their friends rush in. An elbow is devastating.

If it's life and death, fukk a fair one, weapons all day and I'll look for anything that looks like it could be used as one. If you're trained with a weapon, it'd be a serious mistake for somebody to engage.

Kali I know is one of the only skills that will train to think of everyday objects as weapons.

I heard from some places that the problem w Muay Thai in a street situation is that while it makes you tough and teaches you how to use your hands, legs, elbows, knees even close quarters clinch fighting, it doesn't focuses all that much on footwork/movement and defense, they often rather tough is out.
I'd rather say Dutch kickboxing then where there's more movement and defense, resembling of western boxing and in offense largely builds on the leg kicks of Muay Thai and the hand techniques of boxing.

Agree on the weapon arts

Like I said, you can believe what you want. You're free to do so.

If you want to believe fighters that never fight outside their element would beat guys who take outside challenges for a career, you can do that.
If you want to believe that punching someone is more effective than submitting someone in a real fight scenario, you can do that.

lmao No MMA fighter, BJJ, or wrestler has EVER FOUGHT A PRIME WORLD CLASS BOXING ATHELTE EVER

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT
even when Ali did that match with the Wrestler HE WAS NOT THE SAME ALI, after wasting the rest of his prime protesting the war he never had the same foot work, same speed or anything
you clearly do not understand combat
Sakuraba submited all he gracies, he is a JAPANESE WRESTLER NOT A BJJ OR JUDO GUY A fukkING CATCH WRESTLER, get folded Ray Mysterio Jr lmao

Like I said you can believe whatever you want. As long as you know you are wrong that's all that matters.

As long as you know the truth why A PRIME WORLD CLASS BOXING ATHELTE has never fought a BJJ EVER, that's all that matters.
