I don't fukk with behind the neck presses. I also don't do a lot of squatting either. Heavy squatting I should say. Destroys your joints.

I started doing them on a decline bench and the pain went away. Guess the angle puts less pressure on the elbows.

Tried this but still it doesnt like my elbows, using dumbells are ok-ish but the EZ bar, hell no! Damn shame because it's a good workout for building them triceps!

squatting and deadlifting b/c 90% of population claim have :flabbynsick: knees and backs

the upright rows im assuming bc of the shoulder impingement

I feel for cats who ditch squats especially for non medical reasoning

Thats one thing I can say for myself is once I got my form "decent" (I'm always looking to get better) from rehabbing my knee a few years ago my knees and back are pretty much pain free especially with heavy squats

Imma be one old ass son of gun squatting and deadlifting still one day. I only use the leg press for accessory stuff and even then I generally do single leg stuff, the pressure it puts on my lower back tells me I'm too tall to be all scrunched up in there

Uprights Rows I still do, even with my long ass arms. .. I just don't come up too high with the pull no need to, I can feel it from traps on down with high reps modest weight

I don't do much if anything for biceps except the T-Curl I stole from CT Fletcher, heavy row variations grew my arms much better than curls ever did during Madcow

yea, barbell flat bench got thrown in the bushes. So did upright rows. Seems to put too much stress on my shoulder.

any kind of behind the neck press. fukk that.

Reverse fly's on the machine, also. Been doing these instead

Deadlifts and I'm in the midst of getting front squats the fukk outta here...not sure though cuz they burn and feel good. The bar just bruises me easily whenver I do mad weight.

Going to focus more on dips. I actually HATE doing bench. When I see people fighting over it I'm like yall nikkas can have it.

FOH :camby:
Just keep adding weight to your dips. I take a 30-35lb dumbbell and put it between my thighs. Same thing w/ pull-ups, i just hold the dumbbell w/ my feet. Then on pushups i put either a 10,25 or 45lb plate on my back :ahh:

same. blew my back out doing deadlifts when I was 19. tried to get back into em, but eventually just decided to give em up.

and upright rows....no matter how careful and perfect my form is I always end up waking up with that same shoulder pain every single time. :camby:

This.

Weighted dips/pushups/pullups >>>>
I've been saying this shyt, for years....

Idk why bench pressing is the stereotypical lift that the general populace, associates with weight training, when it's on the lower echelon, in terms of "functional" strength and movements....

With that said, still squatting Til the day I die. :birdman:

I'll be throwing pull-ups, t-bar row, bench press, deadlift and military press into the bushes. :sadbron:
I can't do anything involving the shoulder joint in exercises with my osteoarthritis.

I've made all these mass gains throughout the years... got the V-shaped back, built up my delts and pecs... and now, it's all going to Mad Max/Beyond Thunderdome status. I might even move from large to medium size t-shirts. I think I'll work on bicep, forearm and triceps and calves and legs.
