Even though both supposed to go hand in hand, I'd choose Loyalty since I don't entirely trust people anyway to feel comfortable in their 'honesty'.:yeshrug:
If you with me, be with me; the same way I'm with you if we on the same squad. Keep ya personal business to yaself, keep the lies you wanna tell me to get me to act or go a certain way to a minimum but be there when it's time to put in work, that's all I ask.

Give me loyalty all day. I can deal with a person lying on minor things, but nothing will get you up out my circle quicker than not being loyal. I've had some people I thought were like brothers at a time that I've completely cut off cause of that. If I can't trust you around the woman I'm with or to show up when I need you, no point in actually being friends and we might as well just be acquaintances.

Honesty.

I'll give an example.

I was going through some crazy shyt when the first snag in my legal career was stressing me on ridiculous levels.:snoop:

I though my supervisors were out to get me and I felt isolated. One of my best friends, who was also working there, was talking to me late one night at the office.:mjcry:

I was on some, "fukk this job, I hate this bullshyt. It's unfair. I'm going to quit this bullshyt, I don't give a fukk.":pacspit:

I expected him to be the typical loyal friend. I subconsciously wanted him to enable my anger on some, "Yea, fukk them, they are doing you dirty, I don't blame you.":obama:

The nikka literally said to me,

"Breh, shut the fukk up. You ain't leaving. You have a family and this place, at least for now, is where you need to be until you get your shyt together. You going to leave? Go head, leave now....:shaq2:

No, I thought so. Just step the fukk up and handle your fukking business, bro."

I was :gucci:, :merchant:, and :demonic: but he literally did the thing that a real friend is supposed to do... Put shyt in real perspective.

The breh literally saves my life and career by keeping in 200 with me instead of telling me what I wanted to hear to be on some victim shyt.

Honesty, not just callousness, but true friendship and honesty goes a long way.

:wow:#BlackBrotherHood

Side note: Breh even helped me become an adult in relationships.

I've never had a friend who pushed faithfulness as then cool shyt to do.

I was talking about smashing this dumb fat ass lawyer at the firm and nikka was like, "yo, you need to settle down my nikka, you don't want your son waking up on days you're out talking about where's daddy.". shyt threw me for a fukking flip.

I love my bros but every nikka I know has always pushed smashing p*ssy over everything. nikka was on his grown man shyt.

My closest friend to this day.:salute:

With friendship loyalty means more. But when you have Authority over someone or something honesty means more
What's the point of a friend who has your back but won't tell you that you're wrong?

That's not a friend. That's a lackey.

I can see your point but that friend was also loyal too. A true loyal friend will keep it 100 with you & tell you when you're bugging like he did. But on the flip side an honest person might not always be loyal to you. It's like what @Desirous said about the Twan/illa/PK situation. I want someone that's gonna be loyal & hold me down right or wrong; especially in public but let me know I'm fukin up in private. To me that's the definition of being loyal. An honest person might not do that
