Watched a travelling show about Seychelles:fire: and was captivated:wow:

...its white sand, crystallized water, forest oasis, and chill location:banderas:

CaCs never ever show Africa:boss: in her true vanglorious nature:scust:

Its never been in their best interest to.

Black people in the diaspora making moves and investing and controlling their destiny is cacs worse nightmare. They would rather us live amongst them and remain at the bottom than be separated and be on top of things where we reside. They don't want us to move away from them, don't believe the bullshyt.

Let's be real if not for the internet most black folks would think Africa is all a jungle with mud huts and poverty everywhere. Some still do, even on this forum.

The region you are in is just as important as the country. Especially in Western Africa with smaller countries.

Also certain things, like if you go to Gambia prepare to learn Wolof. Gambia is so small so at some point you have to do business in Senegal. And everyone speaks Wolof in Senegambia regardless of Ethnic group.

Also not too many people really speak English that well in Gambia really outside of Banjul. As a matter of fact in that region, local languages are still preferred.

Learning the language before you decide to move any foreign country is a given, if not you're likely setting yourself up for failure as it's doubtful you're going to just stay in the main capital. It's better to spend long periods of time in the place first and get a feel for it as well as conversing with the locals and establishing contacts so that you already feel at home before you move for good.
