My wishlist for places i don't want to be set in because the following places seem to have overdone in open world games:
NYC - obviously (or chicago and boston, basically just nyc with different accents)
LA or anywhere in cali- second to NYC
New Orleans or a facsilimi of it. Pretty much anytime they try to mix it up and go someplace outside the top two, they choose new orleans.
Florida - also a popular destination is many games Miami in particular though.
Hong Kong - lots of other copy cat games set here as well too.
.
So outside of these places my wishlist to explore would include the following which either are seldom explored or never.
DC - pretty sure i've seen this at least once but its still a place with many landmarks that you don't often see. because after a well every large city starts to look the same. this would be fresher.
Alaska - The wilderness mixed with civilization would be dope af i think.
Route 66 - do a biker gang specific one set in rural areas connected by highways like that tv show sons of anarchy
Brazil - a city of god type angle would be ill too, but they'd need to do more serious like red dead i think.
Breh what major publisher has done New Orleans? I legit can’t think of one.
it would have to be a different game. gta is about chasing "the american dream"
i would like to see it in DC with some nasty politics shyt thrown in it
Yes... I don't care what city it is.. I do hope it's new but if not, oh wellI’d love to go back to vice city with the improvement rockstar has made over the years. It’s about time they add in a real drug dealing mechanic in the game, just the thought of being on the strip selling cocaine at the Babylon![]()
Ughhhhhhhh
Literally the one we are talking about. Rockstar did RDR2 where they spend act 2 in an 1890s version of new orleans called saint deni.
Mafia 3 was also set in new orleans
Assassins creed Liberation was in new orleans
Infamous 2 was set in the fictional city of New Marais (based on New Orleans)
it's lowkey becoming a popular destination for open world games.
