I want to upgrade my bike...I got a hybrid that i feel isnt cutting it for me anymore...I want to get a road bike ...something lighter..any suggestions?

OK so since I've been zwifting through the introductory period (it's now over, I won't pay until winter time) I've been telling people about it. One of my coworkers wife went out and bought a Schwinn indoor bike. Apparently you can use it for an app called Ride Social.

To sum it up...think of it like riding through Google maps on street view. Theres real routes that were filmed and just like zwift it uses your sensors and you ride through them. There really no social interaction. You can see other riders and where they are but that's about it.

But it's all free. You just download the app, sign up, and download the routes. They have vr too...but I think that's doing too much.

I'll say this compared to zwift where you are sucked in with its large social network, being able to add friends, customize your ride, ride events, all that cool shyt, ride social is very immersive.

I rode the southern California route for about 25 minutes because I was looking at shyt. I was just planning on riding for a minute or two just to see what it was like and I read the stats and was like "oh shyt"... I was in my pajama pants and a t shirt with my house shoes on. No intentions of riding what so ever.

I'd say it's worth a look at, since it's free for android and iPad.

I uploaded some of my routes from my GPS into zwift. It keeps all the stats and shyt so I can virtually race myself.

I'm also trying Rouvy it's kind of cool, lots of real routes like ride social. I uploaded my routes and I can ride over the Google map of them. That's pretty cool. Looking forward to winter.

Rouvy is dope too. There are a lot of new virtual options. Yes know goes who race who only step outside when it’s time to race. All the heavy lifting is done indoors now.

Too damn hot outside to be training 6-7 days a week. Bought a Cycleops Hammer smart trainer which is pretty dope with Zwift. Thought about getting a projector for Zwift but I get bored watching the game and end up watching a movie on my other tablet. Unless the weather is absolutely perfect, indoor cycling>>outdoor

Weather is mid 70s in LA right now, Premium gas is hitting for $4.69 so decided to ride my bike it to my gym for the 1st time in more then 3months

Had to stop by my Amazon locker so in all I biked it 12miles

Will be biking it to my gym every morning from now on to these gas prices calm down

Damn, a bike by Vogue sounds sick I heard it's real hard to paint tubes, which is why I went with someone that has a lot of experience painting bikes. If I ever decide to repaint it, I may hit him up though.
