I was too old when hey Arnold came out but I saw some reruns and was a very smart and funny show. I liked that they kept it 1000, like when Helga's mom had a drinking problem and you always saw her tired or sleeping on the couch and she was always making 'drinks'

Hey Arnold was fukking everything in a cartoon. As i grew older though....i realized Helga's thirst for Arnold was over 9000.

I don't know HOW that shyt got past the censors 'cause it isn't even a pun or play on words (Animaniacs! Finger Prints bit is a perfect example)


Also I feel bad for cats that didn't grow up with the original Ren and Stimpy before they rebooted it with Homosexual references damn near every two minutes.

This show was the progenitor for Cartoons that wanted to start making a lot of creepy/grossout shyt without being a full on adult show.
