He's the GOAT to me; most talented artist to do this, incredible features, two of the most amazing albums I ever heard, and a hell of impact in the culture, commercially or otherwise. Not to mention he birthed a few of your favorite rappers style :myman:

Do you know the impact LAD had when it dropped?? A classic album..from start to finish.

His small body of work >>> most of the dudes you mentioned

:what: idc about the impact of LAD, most of it was because he died if any mc i listed died they would have had similar impact. if DMX died after flesh of my flesh he would have been herald the greatest since pac, we all know how his career went

Loose you went from Top 5 from to not mentioned at all smh.. :snoop:

Why do young niccas like to shxt on legends :mindblown:

B.I.G is EASY top 3 for me :salute: And I'm 20 years old breh :pachaha:

im 25, biggies overrated that's all not shytting on him at all he was your typical commercial mc

DMX had a limited skill set, though. Nas, Pac, B.I.G., Rakim, or Krs-One are what legends look like.

LAD was :trash:, an embarrassment for a rapper "we" claim that is top 5 off 2 lps. biggie was well on his way into joining puffy in the shiny suit era , LAD provides evidence that he didnt have what it takes to remain consistent. luckily death and nostalgia have clouded y'all minds and he still remain relevant. its equivulent to someone calling Nas top 5 after illmatic and IWW

LAD is far from trash. It's uneven at times and would have worked MUCH better as a single album, but it's not anywhere near trash (nor classic) status.

DMX?

I really think that some nikkaz say "Life After Death isn't all that good" just to be cool or to be different

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but to me LAD is an all time classic. I still love the album, could throw it on anytime and enjoy it.

LAD Trash? I think some of you are just lookin for attention. If Death is the only reason people call LAD a Classic then why isn't "Yeah Baby" a Classic? Why didn't Eazy E Go Diamond? LAD is a monumental LP in Hip Hop History. It's Classic Status isn't even debatable. How many rappers done bitten rhymes? Taking concepts? Sampled beats from that album? It's influence on Hip Hop has been huge. It has the LEAST filler for a Double LP in Rap history. You know why that is? Big kept his callbo's short and song count low. There are only 12 songs on each disc. It's been 15 years and you can't even name 10 albums f*ckin with LAD since 97.
