No they didn't,Stevie Williams and the DGK camp had a deal with reebok around the same time too...

They caught flak, cause Pharrell was showing his team off in hip hop circles,the hollywood scene ( even tho skaters have been there for years), having them on the radio, flying all over the world and all types of cross promotion that isn't really done in skating....and the fact he was a rapper who had his own skate team.

it wasn't just cause they signed with reebok.

And I doubt that they sold more than Bapes, you'll probably even find pics of Pharell rocking Bapes more than Ice Creams.

who said anything about most hyped shoes ever? this thread didn't say anything about most hyped shoe ever.

the 1st ice creams were intended to be that limited, just like all the BBC/Ice Cream gear.

the RBK line of ice creams sold like crazy, hipsters and hypebeasts were all up on them kicks...and like everything in the streetwear/hipster/hypebeast world... it hit hard, and disappeared just as fast.

i was just stating that from a hype perspective...the yeezys, the galaxy foams, and the lebron 9 south beaches...were like the most sought after sneakers ever...i wasnt including the yeezys as the most successful

the rbk line did not sell like crazy breh...a lot of them ended up in rbk outlets...and discounted in like 2 or 3 mths

i know the tiffany sb's and shyt like that had a lot of attention (still trying to force myself buy those breh)...but REGULAR people werent really up on sbs like that...unlike the lebrons, yeezys, foams etc...which are sold at normal retailers and talked about in every rap song....
