Air Yeezys are the most hyped non-jordan sneakers of the past 10 years in my circle.
The most successful must be the ones that sold the most, I'd guess that it was S. Carters or maybe G-unit sneakers.
As far as bootlegs probably the Ice Creams.

Them shyts look like they were made with the crack/dope fiend who stands outside of liquor stores asking for change in mind...them shyts would go lovely with a decade old mecca/enyce/rocafella/vokal/insert-any-random-extinct-urban-brand-here shirt with a couple months worth of grime on it

but the original Run DMC adidas weren't superstars

(it was damn hard to find that pic in the sea of shell-toes)

i'd still argue that ice creams sold way more than those did. out of the whole RBK division, Ice Creams were the clear cut leader in sales.

looking back, those shoes were :scusthov: but hipsters ate them shyts up to go with all the weirdo bright all over print shyt they came up on.

alot of cats exposing themselves, comparing some damn Yeezys to some Ice Cream kicks.. :mjpls: them Ice Cream kicks, crossed many markets.. they even had the skateboard game on smash, and was toe-to-toe with the biggest companies for years(DC, Etnies, etc).. i hated them shoes, but I can't sit here and front.. them shyts did numbers..

plus, they rarely did limited runs.. its really, not even comparable..

nobody rocked the S. Carters... even jay couldn't bear to rock them shyts.

those shoes probably contributed to the insane fall off of Roy Williams in Dallas

had someone said the shell-toe, it wouldn't even be comparable.. them Run-DMC Adidas were dope back in the day, but truth be told most people generally associated the shell-toe with Run-DMC so there would be alot of confusion.. on the same token, Adidas owes Run-DMC their life because before they made that shell-toe as huge as it was, they were virtually on their way out.. outside of their soccer market- they couldn't compete with the likes of Nike in those days..
