When they say the Dems are too far left, remember this:

It's not a trade off it's fukking antithetical to everything you believe. They are opposed to one another.
Sure, but socialized medicine is coming... rethugs have insured that.
There is no libertarian option anywhere on the table.

You can be angry and fume as your axiom is violated, or you can seek the best trade off possible given the shytty options in front of you. I choose the latter.

that's a trivial topic, like being able to speak spanish or talmbowt the hardship experienced as a youth, which doesn't help inform voters whether the career/aspiring politician is worthy of their vote
What? Can someone translate this post for me :heh:

People want socialized medicine when you explain to them what it is. It's why when people cite "Oh well polling on this says it's only 60-64% for single payer" are laughable when single payer has basically been floated as a concrete idea for less than 4 years. Public Option was at 50% in 09' now it's damn near 80%.

If the Dems would just learn that if you get out in front of an issue that becomes popular very quickly that maybe you can actually activate that good will to accomplish more good things instead of waiting until "the time is right". :francis:
You still believe democrats want universal healthcare.....

Do some want universal healthcare - yes. However universal healthcare, or the idea that healthcare is a right, is not a pillar of the Democratic party. It's not some conspiracy theory either.

Electing a black president and passing the pseudo socialist ACA cost the left both the house, and the senate...
:hubie:
Y’all keep pushing left though...
Eventually you will put two and two together
How is it that you get away with being such a bad poster?
The Affordable Care Act didn't cost the "Democrats" the House and the Senate, backlash from his election, in conjunction with a tightly coordinated right-wing campaign, is what "cost" the Democrats the election(s).

I suggest reading Dark Money by. Jane Mayer for some context.
