You wanna debate the leftness of the Democratic party? You could do that in this thread. Nothing is stopping you.
that's a trivial topic, like being able to speak spanish or talmbowt the hardship experienced as a youth, which doesn't help inform voters whether the career/aspiring politician is worthy of their vote

Electing a black president and passing the pseudo socialist ACA cost the left both the house, and the senate...
:hubie:
Y’all keep pushing left though...
Eventually you will put two and two together

The Ironic thing is that if Obama went full socialist with a public option/Single payer he wouldn't have lost those seats. People dislike the ACA not because it is "socialism" but because it didn't go far enough and is essentially a gift to the private health insurance industry. It's the Republicans half-assed answer to a single-payer health system and nobody likes half measures.

The ACA had a public option. Joe Lieberman notoriously torpedoed it on his way out. :Mjdawhat:

He had the public option until the man who Obama refused to allow Harry Reid to reprimand and strip of his senate seniority in Joe Liebermann voted no.

People want socialized medicine when you explain to them what it is. It's why when people cite "Oh well polling on this says it's only 60-64% for single payer" are laughable when single payer has basically been floated as a concrete idea for less than 4 years. Public Option was at 50% in 09' now it's damn near 80%.

If the Dems would just learn that if you get out in front of an issue that becomes popular very quickly that maybe you can actually activate that good will to accomplish more good things instead of waiting until "the time is right". :francis:

Man on government Healthcare rails against government Healthcare. :bryan:
:lolbron:Mandate service and I’m in.
Canadian style block grants is what I’d like to see. But apparently Canadian healthcare isn’t as awesome as Dems pretend it is when rattling of statistics.

Even a public option is digestible, but this single payer shyt:camby:

How the fukk can you be a libertarian and yet only for standardizing health care if you only are used as a tool of oppression by the state.

I've said this 100x but your politics make no fukking sense. :russ: Any libertarian worth his salt should be wholly against mandating service. So the conception that you feed us is inherently lies because you won't take an honest position for your views because you know they are abhorrent.

"Let them die" is the answer to your world view. At least be honest with us instead of pretending. Just say it, it's okay, just say "I don't care about the 50K+ people a year who die because of this".
