When they say the Dems are too far left, remember this:

It's odd because Republicans voters were against Obamacare and now they refuse to give it up.

Not sure why this is surprising...
Putting tax payer funded benefits back in the box is always extremely difficult. Which is why it’s a road that should be traveled carefully.

Put another way, giving is always easier than taking away...
It’s part of the reason Dems shoved it down America’s throat.

What does "pseudo-socialist" mean?

How is the ACA any more socialist than the pre-existing health care system?

I'd agree that Medicare is pseudo-socialist, but it's a stretch to put the ACA in that category, and Republicans generally love Medicare.
I always viewed the ACA a step towards fully socialized medicine in this country. It never was going to succeed but was going to set the stage for some form of single payer... and it has done just that. Maybe pseudo socialism isn’t the right term, it’s more of a play action Hail Mary to socialized medicine.

You are the reason this country and world doesn't move forward or advance. I hope you know that.

Mostly bullshyt talking point that there's no way you get from talking to actual Black folk. I rarely ever meet anyone who thinks immigration is the top shyt to worry about and I'm from LA. Black folk are in the liberal mainstream on immigration overall - 73% oppose a border wall and 81% want to give amnesty to illegals who came here when they were children.

Your original post about LGBT was much more on point.

Well its not the main talking point with the black community, but its a significant talking for those black people who think the Dems are too "left" or just have grievances. I mean I don't have all the data, but I've come across that talking point in real life, and you see it all the time in the locker room. Its the basis of the whole #ADOS shtick.

I thought the party line was that the basis of the ADOS shtick was reparations and they have no hate for immigrants? Either way, the #ADOS shtick is brand new and feels very astroturfed.

There are definitely Black folk who have a problem with immigration, mostly due to the job competition issue. But I just don't hear people talking about it that much and Black people ain't coming out to vote against immigration. Whereas if there is an LGBT agenda item on the ballot, even California dems have a hard time getting any support from the Black community.

But mostly I just don't think that many Black people think the Dems are too far left. There's a contingent but it ain't serious.

Electing a black president and passing the pseudo socialist ACA cost the left both the house, and the senate...
:hubie:
Y’all keep pushing left though...
Eventually you will put two and two together

Every nation within the 5 eyes has universal healthcare except America.

None of the socialist arguments ever get applied to stimulus packages after every recession...

Yes, when taxpayers actually receive a service or value for the taxes they pay, that policy is probably going to be hard to defeat. :manny:

Well that’s the what they say, nonetheless, whether it’s some artificial construct or not, there is growing resentment from the black community that dems care more illegal immigrants than people, when they actually broke laws. All in all, I think we can agree that majority of black people don’t think the dems are too left, but there are many disaffected black voters that are just mentally checked out of the process, because they believe both sides have nothing “tangible” to offer them and would rather cater other persecuted demographics

not surprising OP made a trash thread promoting lazy, easily manipulated herd mentality based on generic labels, cloudy stereotypes and dubious summaries, so to avoid debates because of fear of being exposed for blissful ignorance
...again, change your fawking name. Stop associating Bernie with your foolishness
