This isn't a great take. How many sgs have one a title as the number one options? Jordan, Kobe, Wade and that's about it right? How many pgs have won a ring as the number one option? Zeke and Curry if you consider him one?

In the last 30 years Jordan, Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Wade, LeBron, Curry, and Durant pretty much got all the rings

The league has been dominated by a few players, but if you look at their 2nd options and Finals opponents, the point still holds true. There hasn't even been a PF-led Finals loser since 98 Dirk and Tim lost one, but they still ended up winning rings

it's not the greatest take ever, but it's facts. Any moderately smart basketball fan is taking the top 10 players all time at the other 4 spots before the top 10 PFs :manny:

I like Giannis as a person and I respect his hard work ethic, but his game is ugly as hell and he won’t ever win as a number 1

he needs to be paired with an elite point ala curry, dame, kyrie, harden etc to relieve the pressure in the playoffs
Tihs, Giannis is a cool dude
funny

but he kinda stinks a little bit

The super max has almost killed that idea that he can jump to another team and Milwaukee has no flexibility for the next few years...

yeah they’re more or less stuck with this roster

do they even have picks? They have to pray and hope they hit on a late round pg gem

Yeah, Dirk won one too

Now name another PF who won anything as a 1st option :unimpressed:

only ones to even win as a 2nd option are AD, Sheed, and Kevin McHale

If you have the skillset to be an All-Star at the 3 or the 5 then you may be great but a "true" PF will always be objectively worse than any other position given the same talent level.
Kings would have probably won the one in 02
