When did you first realise WCW was in decline?

To be honest, I probably didn't notice until late 2000 or maybe even when they introduced the last Nitro. It wasn't at 96-97 level of awesomeness but I still loved turning back and forth from RAW to Nitro.

Also it feels like the further we get from 2001, the more people believe Vince and Co.'s propaganda about WCW (and the territories in general).

The propaganda they've been spouting about WCW always sucking and being terrible while also trying to get you to buy WCW content is the most wtf decision WWE had made in the past 15 years.

Look at this bullshyt match

Flair and Hoegan switching up and feuding again was like a rewind to mid 94 again. Hoegan ruins everything WCW was fine when his bum ass was out the spotlight.

Lets not forget that after the Finger Poke of Doom, which was supposed to give a reason for Goldberg to restart his streak and get back to the top, Hogan and Nash somehow turned face within 2 months while Ric Flair somehow turned heel even after winning WCW back from Bischoff, then Flair got sent to the looney bin. Hulk got injured and avoided dropping his title, then won it back the night he came back, then went back to the red and yellow as a mega face again.

Terry Boulder knew how to work his spot, breh.

I don't know. I just watched MORE WWF in 99 after Rock turned face and Jeff Jarrett and Bret got all that screen time.

That Flair heel turn made NO fukkING SENSE. Look at this promo and here and just :snoop:

Yeah whole double turn was corny and pretty much sabotaged the company. Hoegan was beyond stale by that point and seeing him vs Flair fighting for belt was not interesting at all. 99 was just a hot mess for the company 98 and 99 is like 2 different companies shame too because WCW was my shyt.
