I was off by one

It's still doesn't change the fact Mike had more triple doubles in One season than a guy had in 16 seasons

And I don't care what jordan said numbers/accolades say otherwise.Jordan also said the 2011 bulls have a chance to win multiple championships :russ:

His word aint the gospel homeboy

Lol his word aint gospel the man who actually set the accolades but you haters words should be? lmao GTFOH.

You guys say kobe stans are delusional but you haters are MUCH more delusional.

Heaven on Earth
When he won a ring without being the best player on his team...A shame the Magic, Jordan, Bird, Isaiah and LeBron never had to feel....

truthfully though, Kobe was always fighting an uphill battle

dude played with the most dominant player since Wilt and was the 2nd best player on his team for the first 3 rings... dudes that watched Jordan saw him win Finals MVP and be the best player on his squad each and every season, I think that right there is what did it

Player A career stats: 30.1 ppg, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 50% fg

Player B career stats: 25.4 ppg, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 45% fg

Player C career stats:25.2 ppg, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 49% fg

and yet somehow Kobe stans say it's blasphemous to put their guy (Player B) on the same level as Wade (Player C) despite Wade having better career stats and delusionally think Kobe should be mentioned in the same breath as MJ (Player A)... someone explain that to me
Kobe played his first NBA game at age 18 and and Wade was 22. Wade wasn't even good enough to make the league from ages 18 to 20.

Now compare their stats from age 22 to 30. :aicmon: shyt is not even close.

The MJ/Kobe discussion ended around 08.

:heh:

Just thank god you are not a teenage white woman. In all seriousness I like Kobe's game but dude ain't better than MJ and shouldn't have been in the discussion from jump.

He's an above average two guard.

Rip Hamilton, Michael Finley, Bobby Jackson, Ron Harper Clipper days, Shammond Williams and countless others are equally as good. I don't understand the obsession with Kobe.

When the fukk was the media ready to crown kobe the next jordan? And not like the way they crowned lebron, they crowned that dude king james when he was still in highschool. GTFOH

The only reason the media backed off of lebron was because of the decision which soiled him in their eyes but winning that first champioship fits back right into that king james title they created for him.

From his second season on.:what: They hyped the 98 all-star game that Kobe came into avg. 11 ppg off the bench as a Kobe vs. MJ. During the 3peat it was just ridiculous. The level of hype Bron got coming out of high school has nothing to do with whether or not the media embraced Kobe. Dude was thoroughly slobbed. They even hyped up his post court games during the rape case. You can say a lot of things about Kobe but you can't say is that he was some antihero that wasn't readily accepted by the media.

Kobe was Never in the discussion

Jordan has more accolades more accomplishments and won 6 titles with not even close to the talent kobe has played with

One guy has 10 scoring titles one has 2

One guy has 6 finals mvp's one has 2

One guy has 5 league mvp's one has 1

Jordan had 18 triple doubles in one season kobe has had 16 for his CAREER

Jordan all time leader in ppg,all team leader in playoff ppg, highest playoff points in a game,Led the nba in scoring and won defensive player of the year,Led nba in scoring and was top 10 in assists in the same season

Jordan had 100 + blocks and 250 + steals in the same season(1st player in history Ever to do it) then had 200 steals and 100 blocks the next season.Kobe has never done either ONCE

Jordan never got swept after winning a championship and never let his team get smashed by 39 points or 36 or 32 or 28 points in elimination games

Kobe aint close to mike except emulating him to a t

Kobe has more range and better handles than jordan thats it,Mike is the blueprint that kobe copied

But Lebron has even less accolades yet he's "in the discussion" :skip:

That's the point of the thread.

When he lost a 3-1 lead to the Suns. Icing on the cake was Boston punking him. Lost a 24 point lead in the finals? Damn homie.

haa haa when he had kwame as a starting center. WOW. yall joking right. lol.

people really believing some guy named MJ could actually beat a team by himself. lol at that. but i do know this one dude named kobe who actually did...twice. 62 in 3, more points then the entire team. 81 in 4. sorry aint another player in the legit era ever done that. and no wilts 100 doesnt count balling up against jokes at his position.

So Bron aint guilty of this also? Wade's going down top 5 shooting guard of all time. Howard isn't going down a top 5 center. There's only two people better than Wade. That's Lebron's teammate :wtf: This is why I dont take you Bron cats serious. You criticize somebody when you're the biggest offender.

1. Jordan
2. Kobe
3. Wade

1. Wilt
2. Kareem
3. Hakeem
4. Robinson/Ewing
5. Russell

Howard fits nowhere on this list.

Yea, I know what your saying but it all depends on who's the leader of the team and how dominant their teammate is at the moment, instead of the all time lists.

Howard is arguable top 2 center RIGHT NOW.
Nash is easily top 5 pg right now.
Pau is a still a top ten center with top 5 talent.

Kobe right now needs them to win a lot more than Lebron needs Wade despite Wades ranking or Bosh. Their playoff run is an example of that.

Lebron can carry his team single handidly. Lebron contributes more to his team winning than Wade bottom line. Lebron is "the guy" now and we all know it. The Heat is his team.

I don't think Kobe will be "the guy" on the Lakers if they make a title run, but who knows....we will see. Still, Kobe thinks the Lakers are "his team":comeon:

Thats the type of attitude that will cost LA a title next year.....

History has proven Kobe needs a dominant Center to carry him. Now he has one and a dominant pg along with it.

Jordan never had a Dominant Center or PG on his side.
