i disagree with that it was a whitelash certainly, like Cryin Van said. and i don't think he was the establishment's choice at all, they just succumbed to the will of the right wing base and went along with it.

that's one thing i actually respect about the republican nomination process. they had 10 candidates and went with the one selected by the voters. we had one choice given to us, that was selected 8 years in advance

I learned a lesson throughout the W. Bush presidency at one point I was vehemently against him wanted John Kerry to win the second term but i ended up joining the army once he was reelected realizing at that point maybe its best for our country for him to finish what he started anyway and so i adopted a "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality and decided to assimilate to the govt by joining the army heading straight to war but how bad could it be compared to being Piru affiliated living in Grape street hood but i digress..
Towards the tail end of G dubs presidency having seen Iraq for 15 months becoming a changed person I began to become enlightened and I realized that G dub (George W Bush) was merely a puppet to a regime and corrupt govt much bigger than himself...his last days were disgraceful the first time I witnessed the media and the world publicly talk so much smack about a president ...our stock was falling fast ...thats when the govt pulled its biggest magic trick yet up until that point...making us all forget about the corruption of the Bush presidency and selected a "Brotha"...
