I've slowly come to the realization that there are a lot of Democrats right now that have no ideological core except "anti-trump" and its leading them down inconsistent roads and sometimes straight craziness.

I remember reading the Washington Post comment sections about the bipartisan support for simultaneous knocking down of requiring a warrant for FISA surveillance and renewing warrant-less wiretapping. Not to mention that this also allows any evidence against american citizens used in this process to be used in any criminal proceedings, terrorist related or not.

There were a few "liberal" commentators who said that the "ultra left" wing folks are wrong because this is what is going to take down Trump and we need it to fight against Russia. The obvious question is if Trump is so bad, why are you in favor of increasing his power?

Many self-describe liberals are now lovers of intelligence agencies, ramping up war talk against Russia and Syria, and FBI cocksuckers.

Its not purity politics. Because its not an ideological difference. Its simply reaction to Trump for some people.

You can be against Trump and hope he is out of there ASAP. But this does not mean you can't be critical of things outside the scope of Trump. If anything there is a greater danger in not doing this because you know that some Republican's whose actual policies will do more damage down the road will use the focus on Trump to fukk people over.

I kind of came of age as Bush was president, (32 years old now) his presidency is what shaped my sister, protesting the Iraq War among other Bush issues, but I think when compared to Trump, he's just not nearly as utterly callous, void of any heart or empathy, Bush is spoiled kid, who made some horrible, devastating decisions, and has almost all bad ideas about policy, but he's still someone with humanity, I think, esp, in his later years. Trump is just pure nothingness and evil, and hateful racism, wheras I think Bush is more "abstract", in a sense his policies beliefs and Republican policies make him de facto racist, but he's not in the same class as Trump.

Iraq. Unpopular opinion here but most people only care about Iraq because of the loss of American lives, which were quite small historically when speaking of armed conflicts. People assumed we'd just go in there and bowl them right over as we did in 1991. Ironically, the only reason anyone started moralizing about the war and those poor Iraqis is because we didn't go over there and totally assrape the country (well, not in the expected manner, anyway) from the onset.

I learned a lesson throughout the W. Bush presidency at one point I was vehemently against him wanted John Kerry to win the second term but i ended up joining the army once he was reelected realizing at that point maybe its best for our country for him to finish what he started anyway and so i adopted a "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality and decided to assimilate to the govt by joining the army heading straight to war but how bad could it be compared to being Piru affiliated living in Grape street hood but i digress..
Towards the tail end of G dubs presidency having seen Iraq for 15 months becoming a changed person I began to become enlightened and I realized that G dub (George W Bush) was merely a puppet to a regime and corrupt govt much bigger than himself...his last days were disgraceful the first time I witnessed the media and the world publicly talk so much smack about a president ...our stock was falling fast ...thats when the govt pulled its biggest magic trick yet up until that point...making us all forget about the corruption of the Bush presidency and selected a "Brotha"...
