I get what you're saying with this analogy, but I think you're making it too simplistic.
I think most atheists say that they have no belief system\ideology simply because belief systems\ideologies directly correlates with religion in most cases....
Yall really shouldn't be offended like that..
I see it like this. You can say that you don't believe in GOD and that's fine. But what would you say if I proposed the question on how the universe\nature came to be?
The first 6-8 sentences that comes out of your mouth is going to be what you believe, your belief system or ideology that is the main driving force for your intellectual stance against a higher power...
You should have a rationale to defend your position. It would be intellectually irresponsible not to...
To simply say that the lack of evidence for intelligent design\higher power is a weak stance to take.......imo
Heads Up! You might want to check your keyboard from your end, looks like you e key is broken.the carnivorous exemplifies the purported relevance of the proletariat beneath the equestrian moral landscape
You heard me.
Just like a male can have a feminine trait and still be male you need more than a simple trait shared by religion to be religious.
Its not about proving their is a God.
I posted that to address the statement that atheism is not an ideology. Even the ism suffix defines it as a set of beliefs but I digress...
Atheism does contain a set of beliefs\ideology to justify the stance of their being no higher power.......
There are countless books\blogs\sites that uses a certain rationale, a belief system to a degree, to justify the opinion of there being no God....
That's all I'm trying to say
The A makes it without theistic beliefs/principles....Not devoid of any belief system
I know right, imagine chemicals and past experiences having the ability to think.
You're an idiot.I can't ascertain any other conclusion after all this time.
The fact you believe in a god (which you source from your experiences of your encounters with previous religions) means that your god exists with certain characteristics you believe to be inherent to that god.
son cant be helped... he's gone.Bruh. I already explained this to you.
It doesn't say "atheists" don't believe in ANYTHING. What you're talking about is nihilism.
Atheism is SIMPLY the lack of belief in a god. What you do with your life after that is up to you.
Atheism is SIMPLY the lack of belief in a god.
Its not me trying pin everything that involves a belief that a higher power exists as a religion becsuse they share a trait which is pretty idiotic in itself. You're an idiot.I can't ascertain any other conclusion after all this time.

I source my believe based on us creating and the possibility of intelligent life forms existing out there doing what we did.

I source my belief based on us creating things ourselves and the possibility of intelligent life forms existing out there doing what we did.
Thats like saying, "Since I can imagine myself flying, therefore I can fly"
So only we can create is what your saying? No other intelligent life form if they exist out there would be able to create like we did? That says NOTHING about there being a god.
