What's the point of getting married in 2013?

For me, they are definitely out there. Marriage takes a lot of time and commitment. People would rather that commitment go elsewhere. I think the the greater society,not just the coli, thrives on bad news. We hardly ever hear good news any more. A negative outlook justifies their position, if a least a lot of other people feel the same way they do.

this is what i'm saying. so, instead of trying to add all these facts and shyt to justify your belief, just say you're afraid of it because all this bad news is just to generate fear, not to actually educate you. it's already fused with pessimism. if the facts are as they say, why don't you hear about the other percentage of people? why shouldn't we hear positive stories? why must we always be faced with some story designed to generate doubt?

I respect a woman who kept that pumpum wrapped tight all her life just for me. Thats who will be my one and only queen. No offense to chicks who gave it away to other guys i can still deal with them but not on an exclusive basis.

Do you know how crazy that sounds? A women is not going to be in any meaningful relationships and ignore all types of biology because she might meet you and want to spend the rest of her life with you.

so why even believe these stats at this juncture in our discussion? if you think the media circulates information that's negative all so they can deflect attention away from things that make us truly happy all so we can focus on things that don't (money), why do you believe this discussion on divorce and the need to not consider marriage as a future is even valid any more?

i just wish people would use their heads a little more. all we talk about is negative stuff regarding marriage. it's cool if you don't feel you'll get married for some legitimate reason, but to say because of statistics on divorce prove that there's no reason to get married because it's likely to fail, that's silly.

i have more to say (about both sides of the argument) but i'll just leave it at that for now...

Its hard enough thinking of being with one woman for my life so my compromise is that she is virgin. If not im not going to put myself through hell trying to be faithful to chick who did her thing.

Its not an insecurity issue for me just my culture. Its obvious we are cut from different cloth.

To be honest, I don't use these stats. when they say have is not married, at least 20 percent of that is Divorce. I don't want to get married, but not because of some numbers, if that helps. I agree with you.
