People rush into marriage.


If i get married I definitely will be one of the half who stay married. I've been in enough relationships to know what works/doesn't work and what I can deal with. I also know the type of women I'd settle down with.

marriage rates are dropping lal over the world its sad but , marriage does something to a man. It weakens him. Neuters him. Destroys his pride and self-respect.

i wanna see these rates people keep talking about. if half marriages end up in divorce (like people say they do) what's the deal with these other married couples that haven't gotten divorced? how come we never hear their story or how they managed to survive?

Because people would rather use the negative statistics to justify their inability to form a lasting bond with another human being. It's a deflection. Truth is majority of the people who harp on that are not marriage quality. They aren't even relationship quality. Those are people you should probably steer clear of when it comes to proper nation building. And just a heads up. The poorest race of people in this country marry the least. That's not a coincidence.

you're still not addressing my question, just his answer to my question. tell me where are these marriages that succeed? where's the information on them? why do we keep on hearing about bad marriages? why is that emphasized especially if (according to some people on here) the marriage statistics in america point towards a 50/50 split in regards to divorce. i haven't ever seen one goddamn thread in this place talking about a fukking lovely couple that's stayed married. all y'all want to do is talk about some old bullshyt about how motherfukkers are getting divorce. you're creating your own fukked up reality even in the presence of "statistics" that say otherwise.

For me, they are definitely out there. Marriage takes a lot of time and commitment. People would rather that commitment go elsewhere. I think the the greater society,not just the coli, thrives on bad news. We hardly ever hear good news any more. A negative outlook justifies their position, if a least a lot of other people feel the same way they do.

oh, so you mean because she changes she has to change into a bad person over the course of five or seven years? you just arbitrarily added the word "change" to the discussion over divorce and you keep on adding a negative feeling with. people change every day regardless if they're married or not. why assume because someone's married they must make a negative change therefore leading to divorce? your speech is steeped in defeatism...

I respect a woman who kept that pumpum wrapped tight all her life just for me. Thats who will be my one and only queen. No offense to chicks who gave it away to other guys i can still deal with them but not on an exclusive basis.
