I really didn't learn my lesson until I was in my late 20s. By that time simping mostly consisted financial "gifts." In my "prime" (1997 - 2007) I was making a fool of myself in every simp category; pointless and embarrassing gestures, tricking, communication, emasculation, friend/brother zoned, lack of intimacy (sex, kissing, touching et al). Just a terrible time to be alive. Particularly during those first six years (97-03), whole middle and high school career a fukking wash. 2004 opened new doors for me but I was just so used to making bad decisions by that point I was blowing opportunities left and right. Talking about spiking the ball at the 1 yard line doing simp shyt. Wasn't really until 2007-08 that I started to smarten up. As the years went by it was just tricking that was an issue. And that's definitely nothing to be proud of.

When I was in the 8th grade, I started crushing hard on this cute busty Cambodian chick. The simping really started with getting her one of those candygrams on Valentine's Day and writing out that I liked her. The rest of the year, I ended up burning most of my allowance on her. Didn't matter if it was candy, to get her hair/nails done or just for the fukk of it...I spent it.
Even when she was with another dude, my dumbass still was hoping for a chance. That girl had me acting so stupid. I was bringing in mad candy for her and her friends. I even remember taking pictures of classmates with a disposal camera mainly to have some of her. (Only to show them off to classmates and this one broad "lose" all of my pictures yet being too much of a bytch to check her )
By the end of the year on our class trip, I was ready to tell her that I loved her and wanted to be with her. Fortunately, we got separated and I couldn't find her in time before my mom came and picked me up. Spent my summer realizing how stupid I looked.
(Got over her but almost fell into the trap again over a year later when she came to my high school. Saw her the first day of my 10th grade year and she still was looking good. Said "hi" to me and I'm like . Came to school the next day with jet black hair and an ugly ass outfit and I was officially done with her. )

2010 was my Simping year to a T ( I was a junior in high school at this time). Here's one of the more memorable ones (to me at least).
1. High School Girlfriend starts dating a football player from another school two weeks after we broke up (I was baffled how can she move on so fast) Oh how fukking naive I was breh. I call her to make amends but she says she's moved on and she's meeting him at the park soon...I tell her I'll escort her to her park date. I did it because my dumb-ass female friend infected my head with titanic-esque BS and told me she'll run back to me on Rose shyt if I poured my heart out. (I lost my virginity to this girl so the attachment was strong AF). I walk her to the park and we're chilling at the park bench. At first, he's a no show, she gets upset so I try to only to get shot down and a half an hour later this Ray Lewis built dude walks to our direction and she gets a fukking twinkle in her eye.

She tells me goodbye and runs off with him and I walk home in absolute defeat. I shaped up really quick after that humiliation.

I would put up with all kinds of shyt for an ex. This woman was literally crushing on another nikka and I just let her text and call him with no issue because I didn't want to appear jealous. She of course left me to chase his ass. One of the most important moments of my life tbqh, I did a 180 and my life improved considerably
