The Black Church is hilarious with its many contradictions and scandals.

All churches no matter the race are like that for sure

True. But the Black Church still wants to be taken seriously as the moral authority of the Black community.

We off that.

It was my grandma church but the pastor had an affair with another member, divorced his wife and married the member. The wife and ex-wife both continued to come and sit in the front row.

From my childhood church, the pastor was messing with some of the boys that was in bible study. I just found out a few years ago.

I remember our keyboard player and his wife stopped coming to church for a few weeks, and then he eventually came back solo.
I thought that was odd.
Come to find out the pastor may have made a pass at the wife, and the keyboard player didn’t believe her story.
Last I heard they got a divorce, and I think keyboardist left the church to start his own ministry.
