Well, you would know better but if u ask me both cities looked the same that's why I didn't enjoy GTA IV as much, I felt it was the same city as True Crime.

Most of True Crime was based in Manhattan tho. GTA IV expanded a little more.

Overall - San Andreas
Soundtrack - GTA III
Atmosphere - Vice City (felt like i was really in South Beach)
Characters - San Andreas
Story - Vice City ( when Tommy took out Diaz & became the don)
Protagonist - San Andreas & Vice City
Worst - GTA IV (it was aesthetically beautiful but, i got bored & never finished)



Without question, San Andreas & Vice City are the GOAT games. 4 is good but, it was something missing with that one. Eventually i'll go back & finish it. I wished Rockstar chose different locations than LA & NYC. While I do want them to do an updated version of Vice City , it would be DOPE as HELL if they did Europe (007 missions in London, Paris, Rome), Japan & Mainland China (Triads & Yakuza in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing), DMV (Grimey Politicians in Washington DC & Wire type shyt in Baltimore) or Chicago (1920s prohibition era). Either location would be

Let's not forget MSX on GTA 3 if you were from London/UK that shyt was live captured pirate radio perfectly - missing the distorted mics and interference from another radio dial tho lol

True Crime NY was way better than GTA IV and I'm a big GTA fan. GTA IV coming out a couple of years after True Crime had me with the face cause it was basically the same city as True Crime. They shoulda done GTA IV in a whole new location instead of Liberty City.

San Andreas was probably the best but those plane missions pissed me off. I actually gave up on the game for a few months then a friend helped me beat the plane missions. If it wasn't for my friend I woulda never beat that game.

You aint the only one. I restarted the game when i got to those plane missions cuz i was stuck on them for a month

San Andreas & it ain't even close. VC had the best soundtrack to me and atmosphere. SA did a great job simulating the feel of '92 Cali, though.

Only GTA game I ever finished was Vice City, got to the last mission in San Andreas died a few times and just never got back to playing it GTA 4 got boring after a while never got back to it too

with Liberty City stories second,
