For me its a toss up between SA and GTA 4.

San Andreas, the game map was :win:

In addition to the city parts, they had deserts and countryside in the game :gladbron:

The variety of vehicles in SA :gladbron:

In GTA 4 the graphics and car handling was dope, I used to love driving the bus in the game pretending I was a bus driver, I'd be driving that bus looking like :pachaha::gladbron:

Running from the cops in GTA 4 was much more fun than the other GTA's to me, used to spend hours doing that...

GTA will never leave america, gta = satire on american culture. It would be ill to go back in time doe.

man, its a big ass world out there. plus, its not like the older games weren't based in London.

*an immigrant trying to get in on bootlegging in 1920s Chicago
*rogue mercenary/secret agent running around Europe in Bugattis
*a Jap making his way through the rankings in the Chinese Triad
*contract killing for politicians in Washington, discovering a fukked up government coverup
*a kid rising from the favelas in Brazil to some "Sosa from Scarface" type shyt

the possibilities are endless :smugfavre:

They need to make another Vice City. Only thing is if it would still have the same effect if it takes place in present time.

London = England = English speaking. So we'll get the jokes. Imagine a cluckin bell in brazil lol? shyt wouldn't make sense and what about radio stations what music would they play? what about them radio jockeys, they gonna have to speak portuguese/spanish/jap/

GTA is entertaining to us because we can relate to it, take it out of america and it's not gta anymore. Mission in brazil, jap, colombia etc would be cool doe.

London's already got the "getaway" games so meh

Shout out to GTA 3 for having my nikka Agallah and the Royce on the soundtrack, that shyt was gully as hell.

But the GOAT GTA is San Andreas, it was one of the few games that made very bold promises and held to just about all of them if not all of them. If they just reskinned the game in HD graphics, I would cop it again. It is one of the few games I bought on launch day and thought I got my money's worth, I put dozens of hours into the game and after I beat it, I just started it again. Also, the soundtrack was a perfect mix of east coast, west coast, funk and reggae, just a fukkin masterpiece. It wasn't perfect but it was 10/10.
