However Vice City is more classic in the sense of GTA. If someone who never played grand theft auto wanted to get into it, I would refer them to Vice City.
nikkas are gonna disagree, but 4 took the series to another level and is still one of the greatest feats I've seen in gaming. The amount of detail in a world that big is amazing. I have 3 second because nothing will compare to when I first played it. That was a game changer and you see where it's gone since then. San Andreas is definitely the funnest one in the series and gave you the most things to do. Vice City was the best at depicting a certain time and place.
San Andreas was home to me. Los Santos was the best city GTA ever put out. Vice City had amazing atmosphere too. I'll get a Vita when I can play those games on it.
Overall - SA
Soundtrack - SA/VC, but GTA3 was underrated for their custom-made songs
Atmosphere - VC
Characters - SA/VC
Story - Vice City
Protagnoist - VC
Worst (overall)- GTA4, didn't "feel" like a GTA game
