One I'm not a poor cracka, two I'm not an amateur cook, I've just never really eaten steak that heavily so when comes to beef I only really know ground beef & ribs by heart.

Is there a certain way you like it cooked in terms of how down?

I always get my steaks medium rare. I'm not a heathen.

Filet mignon is not very forgiving if overcooked. Very low fat content usually means less flavor, it's good if done well (I don't mean cooked to the well temperature) but I like some fat in my steaks.
