The best displays of Jon's strength relative to DC is him fighting off TDs and holding his ground in the clinch. Thats it. Jones wasn't hurting nothing but DC's pride inside the clinch and he was catching shots when they broke it. Going inside is all upside with cormeir as long as his intentions aren't to grapple

I don't think I seen Jon rock someone with strikes since shogun, and he definitely didn't do it inside with DC.

I feel like the hype train and people siding with Jon on clowning DC is really coloring how people remember that fight. It was a shot to DC's pride but it wasn't this ass whipping folks are making it out to be

Cormier does need to do that. But the thing with Jones is he adapts to your gameplan. I agree he hurt Cormier's pride but Jones does that to everyone because he gets inside their head by beating them to their own game. As far as rocking anybody with shots... again that's why I wanna see where his hand game is now. We know he's gonna have more pop with his strength because of the weights he's lifting. I predict he will start jabbing more to substitute him having to keep his arms out.

Barring something strange or Jones having seriously and suddenly athletically declined I see him getting a finish on DC Saturday night. I just don't put much stock in the OSP fight/USADA etc since OSP was a safe comeback fight for Jon.

I think people are vastly underestimating DC. He may lose again but if there is a finish in this fight it'll be DC that does, Jones hasn't finished anyone in 4 years.
