now Blatt's international experience is suddenly credible
Steve ker has NONE.
Though not in the NBA Blatt has a lot of experience and success. That's why he was hired. Don't know why that wouldn't be credible.

Don't be dense. People have been saying all year that Blatt was in over his head. Now suddenly he's the wise elder out there. Your argument has been dismantled. Just leave it be.Steve ker has NONE.

Yeah Tristan Thompson, Dellevadova, Mozgov, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, Shumpert, JR Smith have all logged tons of playoff minutes. Their experience really showed during this run.

Look at the leader/best player on the Cavaliers. His experience and ball dominance is basically eliminating a lot of the chances for his inexperienced teammates to fukk up. Golden State has no one like that, not even a veteran off of the bench that could talk to them about the situation even if he's not playing. And don't think its a coincidence LeBron put Mike Miller in at the end of the game to throw the inbounds pass,'or that James Jones has been more prevelant during the last few games. Experience means something.
If you think LeBron's experience has nothing to do with why these games have been played the way they've been played then I don't know what to tell you. And the experience of his teammates doesn't matter much because he's essentially taking away most of their opportunities to make mistakes. You should read the rest of the thread before responding.
My response is to the idea that Cleveland is winning these games because of their edge in playoff experience, which is both stupid and an amazing reversal on the prevailing narrative going into the playoffs.
I swear people's memory resets on this stuff about every two weeks.
Analytics is fine. My problem was people claiming the Warriors are one of the best teams ever because of analytics.
Thread is dumb. I've been watching basketball for like 14 years. Keyword 'watching'. They come with these bs stats and analystics every year claiming that his team is this or this player is that, but me or anyone else I know pays that bullshyt no mind.
I think playoff experience does have value, but it's a weird thing to bring up in this case. Unless I'm missing someone obvious, the only Cavs players getting minutes who have significant playoff experience are LeBron, James Jones, and Mike Miller.
No team has won an NBA Finals since in 91 with no players on the roster having previously played in a NBA Finals. I don't think it's something that should be dismissed outright.
Its how stats ppl get mad at "conventional" basketball ppl for shytting on them, while they too ignore conventional basketball wisdom and rely solely on numbers. But they were one of the best regular season teams ever
What is with the people on here thinking that those that support analytics don't watch games?
There isn't a single person I've come across that supports analytics that thinks stats are more important than watching games. Watching games will always be the most important way to evaluate talent.

Neither one of them applies context
