Whatever happens in games 4-7, can we agree ANALYTICS has proven to be FALSE?

If Im starting a team I'm signing Lebron and playing 90's rugged style...its that easy obviously.

There have been 3 games played lol...lets slow down. Golden State won 67 games by luck now?

Warriors clearly whooped the league in the regular season. Clearly, no debating.

Instead, I'm just trying to point out to OP that Cavs be using analytics too. How else are plays and sets drawn up unless they were analyzed and deemed high percentage because they work over and over and over. Analytics might tell Cavs to let Bron iso all game, lol. If that is what works. Analytics doesn't account for real time though, only what's happened.

whose game is a "analytics" persons wet dream

:comeon: duncan is a traditional back to the basket big. how is that an analytical dream? analytics nerds want stretch 4s like Dirk not back to the basket bigs like Duncan.

stop tryin to rewrite history. Duncan is ole school basketball as it gets. Hell he's even old school for the 90s. sayin he's an analytical dream is like saying Bron's finals have been an analytical dream when in reality its a NIGHTMARE.

Bron is beating the analytics dream team by playing like a 6'8" Allen Iverson.

You play to the strengths of your best players. You're making up your own narrative of what you think "analytics people" want. Duncan passes every "analytical" test of being one of the best players of all time. I dont get where this notion of analytics means shooting 3's is coming from.

Win share per 48 minutes is the most analytical stat out there...and the top 10 of 2015 varies a lot in terms of position.

Nah... Analytics are great. Its just that most people bringing them up are doing so with no context at all.

Wouldn't that be everybody who brings up analytics:patrice:?Why bring up analytics when you have context,i guess its cute but its meaningless.

At the end of the day basketball is still about matchups, still about nerves, still about heart:banderas:

And chill with that Iverson on steroids talk, just on the grounds it might give people the idea that this Warriors team is anything close to that Lakers squad that swept every damn body:ohlawd:.

Being a overwhelming favorite doesn't make you a buzz saw, just means basketball fans and experts don't know shyt until they see the teams play in the Finals, and even then they don't know from game to game.

But I'd rather us and nba analyst blindly talk shyt and go with our hearts and eyes then hear about some damn analytics:scust:
