That's how I see it.

I can't see him stop doing crime, it's not life he's only a criminal because of Batman, however, he'd lose all love and joy from it and get serious. He'd wipe out everyone else in Gotham ruthlessly and rule over it, wouldn't be no smiles, no laughing, no BS, just straight BODYing folks or scaring them away from Gotham.
