this is good shyt here

in the 90s and even early 2000s city fashion was demarcated by where you were from within, with the suburbs taking what they thought was the best of each

now everyone dresses the same, pretty much :ld:

are you uptown? because i grew up in the burbs bordering brightwood, shepherd park, close to petworth, takoma, 16th street heights, etc

we never wore reeboks, and our newbies were 991 and 574 but everything else here is dead on

Agree. I'm originally from NE but I'm mostly Silver Spring

Back in 95-96 we used to rock ski goggles :snoop:

That same summer we rocked Nautica and Tommy Hill swimming trunks. Some nikkas even copped the matching swim shoes :snoop:

I don't think people did this in other cities but we used to rock sweat pants underneath jean shorts :deadmanny:

Everyone's part of the Wu Clan at your school :russ:

They wouldn't let us have our ballcaps in class, so we said "fucc it" and started wearing straw hats to school.
Like the chits they wear on the PGA tour. lol

We couldn't have gum either, so when we found out fresh cinnamon makes your breath smell good, we would buy
cinnamon sticks and chew on 'em all day.

Little white towels was also on deck.
