Lmao naw hold up yall really think winning three titles over five years is the same as winning three outta three? lol this is what happens when fans of teams that don’t be winning shyt get to speaking on sports excellence.

So by y’all’s logic then the Raiders were a dynasty for winning in 76, 80, and 83 while being the winningest team in sports by percentage. I don’t think anyone would mistake the Raiders for a dynasty but if we on some participation award shyt then fukk it why not? :skip:

Nah, I just respect the teams that actually keep their championship streak going. I’m not saying it’s not a dynasty if they go 3 outta 4 but that ain’t the same as 3 straight. That’s a different kinda dynasty to me.

Winning three in a row is an ultra rare feat. That’s why that holds weight for me vs teams that go 3/4 or 3/5 which is a bit more common among the all time dominant teams.

Put it this way, the Celtics winning 8 (I think) straight titles has more weight to me than the Spurs winning 5 over the span of a decade and a half even though they sustained their winning for longer. Both are dynasties but one of em was much more difficult to achieve.
Nobody disagrees that a 3peat is rare, but saying it's the only "true dynasty" is false.

Those 08-10 Lakers were lowkey weak sauce to me lol, I was never that impressed by those West teams they played in the playoffs either. West was stacked, but didn’t have true contenders like the early 00s
lol the lakers beat the most 50 win teams in playoff history :what:

How do you damn near go undafeated in a playoff run and be considered “weak” in any possible way? :unimpressed: Y’all just fukking post just to post!
Talking about 2000 and 2002. In the 2000 playoffs they had a losing record in close out games. In 2002 they should’ve lost to the kings, and then the finals was basically a circled win for whoever came out of the western conference regardless of their seed.

That doesn’t make them weak in any way tho! Dynasty and weak in the same sentence is an oxymoron! That’s like saying who is the brokest billionaire lol what are talking about 😂

Well call it a perfect dynasty then vs an imperfect one. Because I agree that 3/4 should still be considered a dynasty but there’s levels to this shyt. Three in a row is a dynasty of the highest form.

There is no perfect or imperfect dynasty. Again, I you're making a rule up for your own bias.
