What villain's reasoning for them being "evil" made the most sense to you?

If you say Magneto, you can’t say Lex Luthor - they are diametrically opposed.

So I’ll ask again what are his actual motivations if there are other people who are more equipped to actually check Superman and actually can check Superman. Luthor is no different from any other psychopath. Great bad guy, but anyone that thinks he has good intentions isn’t paying attention. Like I said watch all star Superman
Replying to this separately...who? Other aliens, metahumans, and the other richest person on earth who is peak human and the goat detective. Literally one human being on earth, and luthor with his armor.

The Wrong Side of the Tracks

Dude was raised in a 'Dreamworld' believing he was a side-kick of a 50's comic-book superhero. Turns out, he was an abducted orphan that was used in an experiment using alien technology where he was repeatedly tortured/raped mentally, physically, genetically, and dimensionally. The Government thought he and his 'family' were a serious threat and tried to kill them using a nuke.

Once you understand the psychology of Griffith he becomes that much more interesting. He and Guts lived the same lives, it's no wonder they gravitated to each other. Difference is, Guts already had a semblance of affection during his childhood albeit an attachment style that wasn't great.

Griffith had nothing but they both earned the respect of people around them. Guts saw Griffith as a father figure and friend, someone he could prove his worthiness to. Griffith saw his troops as sheep, until Guts arrived. Finally someone who has their own path, although not known yet, this guy could be my friend.

The only thing he had was his dream and then Guts entered his life. It shook his foundation and now he had to march forward without one. It broke him. He had a Stockholm syndrome with Guts as he later became a special guest coming and going as he pleases. And then Guts was going to take Casca away?

Hell nah!

As for what he may or may not have done during that hell I don't condone those actions. Femto is a wild boy.

:hubie:

His subconscious manifested his earlier attempts within the horse caravan. So I could see it being him or Femto. Jury still out.

:hubie:
I agree with all this but Griffith never gave a fukk about Casca. He was just upset because she was no longer obsessed with him anymore. Her feelings for Guts got in the way for her feelings for Griffith. It was another sign that he was becoming irrelevant and it drove him nuts. He blames Guts for everything.

The flash could kill Superman and as I pointed out black canary pretty much did in injustice. He’s definitely killable

LEX. LUTHOR.

First of all, he is basically bill gates x Steve hawking x Elon musk x bezos. He is both the most intelligent and wealthiest person (few exceptions in DC)

He is the pinnacle of man.

This fukking "guy" from Krypton crashes to earth, and is infinitely strong, fast, powerful, invulnerable, and just DECIDED he is the savior of man?

You ARE NOT A MAN.

SUPERMAN literally makes humanity less relevant. He STUNTS human progress with his power. And he is a WALKING WEAPON. DC has made stories (red son, injustice) that show you what unhinged Superman is...

LEX LUTHOR is RIGHT.

SUPERMAN is a threat beyond reason and impedes humanity and it's growth.
luthor just salty hes bald :umad:bald small meat energy just like michigan

I was legit rooting for Walter for a minute until he started becoming a mark for himself on some "I am the one who knocks" and "Nothing stops this train" shyt

I don't think Fring would have killed him if he just shut his mouth and did his job

People always debate whether or not Walt's fate was sealed after season 3....

I personally don't think so. It took Gus 10+ years to find Gale and who knows how long to find Max before that. He couldn't just pull another chemist out of thin air to replace Walt.

Jesse was obviously a viable option but the whole "replace Walt with Jesse" plan was a response to Walt wilding out (trying to get Mike to betray Gus, showing up at Gus's house with a gun, etc).

Had things been allowed to calm down, Jesse could've taken over after Walt died from cancer. Which was an inevitability, anyway.

Also the final conversation Mike had with Walt seems to suggest Gus had no plans to kill him.

Fred.
