What villain's reasoning for them being "evil" made the most sense to you?

All these folks saying lex when there’s literally an in universe character that shows you how to properly deal with Superman in Batman. Not to mention there are countless forces in universe that could stop him if he went off the deep end (Black Canary literally would’ve killed him in injustice had a yellow power ring not showed up to save him BLACK fukkING CANARY). Lex has been and always will be a fukking narcissist and that’s it.

Watch all star Superman. The last part is about Luther and Supes relationship
What does that have to do with Luthor’s justified motives?

:dahell:

He murdered his own girlfriend/cohort.

I'll never understand the Killmonger praise as a noble character. Why would you follow a leader who willingly without hesitation kills people who AGREE with and support his cause?

:mindblown:
That part.:mjlol:

Brehs will overlook the fukk out of someone's actions if they can agree with their motivations. Same reason for the Lex stanning, his motivation is borne out of insecurity and jealousy, his actions are equally flawed.

This is the answer. Vulture from Spider Homecoming is good too.

I don’t want to hear anyone say Thanos, he was a genocidal maniac. Dude had a gauntlet that could do anything and rather than wishing for the resources he chose to murder trillions.

He was the dumbest Marvel Villian

the comic book reason, as evil and simpish as it was (he wanted to impress Death) made more sense than Thanos choosing to wipe out half of life instead of just increasing the resources :mjlol:

They’re not justified motivations because doesn’t actually give a shyt about anyone but himself. He never has, that’s the point
So the Batman and black Canary comments were just a throwaway. Got it.

Yeah, he isn't benevolent...he is definitely self motivated and believes that while Superman makes man less important, he really thinks it makes *him* less important. But the principals of the Kryptonian who is a designated savior of man and is a threat to all is sound.

Johnny Sack was the GOAT family man

:mjcry:
Johnny Sack was my favourite character but he let his emotions get the best of him and just like his wife was eating herself to death he was smoking himself to death they were both sick :krs::ufdup:

Hes killed more people than Superman ever has. Even the out of control versions of Superman have more self control on the murder than luthor because Supes actually has a conscience.

So I’ll ask again what are his actual motivations if there are other people who are more equipped to actually check Superman and actually can check Superman. Luthor is no different from any other psychopath. Great bad guy, but anyone that thinks he has good intentions isn’t paying attention. Like I said watch all star Superman

Them nikkaz in that red car in boyz in the hood. Cube tried to punk them on Crenshaw. He backed them down by showin his pistol, but they quickly went and let the uzi sang to save face.

I knew they was gonna catch one of em. Just so happened, it was Ricky.

Are you serious??

Them niccas was damn near adults when Ricky & nem was little kids and kept fuccing with them for nothing.
No reason than just to be a$$holes.

Them niccas was puccy. That’s why they backed down the first time they saw Dough with a gat -
because they wasn’t used to the rabbit having a gun. Then went back and shot in THE AIR. Punk chit.

And then shot Ricky in the back. IN THE BACK. From far away. Hoe-ass niccas.

I *own* all star Superman, in hard cover. I am 100% aware of the relationship between the two. Superman Peace on Earth is probably the best Superman morality tale btw.

Luthor has far from a sound moral compass. Yeah, he is blood thirsty and ruthless. There are countless Superman unhinged stories, and even ripoffs like homelander that show that his fears are valid and I agree with Superman being an existential threat to human progress.

If Superman could have found patient zero for COVID in 2019, isolated them, well over a million lives would've been saved. But the progress of vaccines and health would not had been had. I AM NOT SAYING THIS IS RIGHT, but that is a case study in luthor's position. The pages provided from Lex Luthor Man of Steel say it all.
