My buddy just moved downtown into this place down here called liberty village and he paid 375k for his condo loft which is about 1000sq/ft
yeah man, even them old ass houses that are like 75 years old are like 900k
the crazy thing just 10 years ago you could get a decent house for 300k
my parents bought a house in thornhill just a few years old back then nearly 3,000 sq foot for 310k in 2003
310k wont even get you a 1bdrm condo in thornhill now
but the wages stay the same
i already know the dream of home ownership in toronto is dead to me, if i stay here and im on my own its either a condo or living in barrie or whiteby or something

lol im in whitby and more and more black people are coming from ajax and pickering...in about 5 years durham is gonna be pretty diverse. white folks movin more east to courtice and bowmanville
