San Diego is like the 4th most expensive city in the country for real estate, and cost of living in general….I'd grab a condo downtown and be done with it, but if you are looking for luxurious 4 bedroom house, in a great neigborhood and school district, 400k won't get you much. You'll be out in the anonymous mid tier suburbs, living like Henry Hill after the mob….
