What Solutions do you have in mind for fixing the black community?

this idea has potential to build on. I think a book or something on the history of the comapnies that are currently operating/ we support would be worth reading. Something that shows how these companies came into their original wealth is something worth exploring.

It starts with building a family...

Young black men and women need to understand the importance of building a family unit. A strong family unit can provide moral structure/guidance for kids (our future generation), not to mention that pooling resources from both parents is the fastest way to wealth accumulation.

Too often people on both sides want to do things on their own and be independent and all that...it might be cliche, but it really does take a village to raise a child and a future productive member of society.

But how do you suggest we go about teaching people the importance of building a family unit?

I agree with turning off tv and radios. I only listen to the jazz/classical radio and NPR news. I hardly watch tv...more like movies and cartoons with my son
