Reppin
Chi-Town
Surprised no one mentioned Ye

  • Worked his way up making beats and ultimately got his recognition from The Blueprint album which led to him becoming an even more sought after producer
  • Was determined to become a rapper, but didn’t receive any support, so he recorded his album on his own time and promoted it as well.
  • Blows up and becomes a star and multiple award winner
  • Ventures into the fashion world and is successful there
  • Marries Kim Kardashian (who later divorces him) and has 4 kids
  • Starts supporting Trump
  • Runs for president
  • Becomes a billionaire
  • Loses billionaire status and becomes blacklisted after making comments about jews, then doubles and triples down on it on every media outlet he can
  • Goes completely independent and his stuff still sells and his album goes #1

Adrenaline Rush went platinum bruh in 97

I always got to keep in mind how regional rap still was in the 90s. Because in my circle, Twista was on the radar from Po Pimp in 1996. And Adrenaline Rush was a big deal in 1997. But there's mad people that had no clue who Twista was until Slow Jamz in 2004 :yeshrug:

You could literally have an album be popular off the right two or three people having it at one high school, but 50 miles away nobody knew about it
