MF GRIMM might have the craziest story in Hip-Hop esp because all the ghostwriting he's done since the late 80s

Funding KMD and DOOM projects. The "Daybydayent" era and all those amazing underground artists

Its wild how 'in the shadows' he is considering all he has done and who he is connected to from Dr Dre, Nas, Large Pro, Tragedy, G Rap ect.

I wasn't really a fan of his so somebody might have to correct me.

Dude had a number one song then just stopped making music.. I don't remember ever hearing from dude again after riding dirty except from a random feature..

And did he not curse in his music?
You gotta listen to all his underground shyt. Was gon drop a 3rd album on Universal but he left the majors.

His last album Ultimate Victory was a nice album. But his best body of work has been his mixtapes and underground eps.

how has snoop not been mentioned? went from literally on trial for murder, public enemy number one to america's loveable weed smoker.

E-40 has an interesting career trajectory to me because he always been doing the same shyt, it became very popular in the mainstream for a few minutes, then kept doing the same shyt.

you can probably do that with any bay area artist that had main stream success, but 40 the most notable. you can be rich here without any recognition outside of the region. i don't think many local music scenes like that still exist post internet era.

Pusha T.... Don't know how he got relevant... After clipse

Fabulous... don't know why we don't look at him on the Jay and Nas level.
I doubt people even look at him on a Jadakiss level

he had a chance after breathe...... then he dropped an album with like a 20 features. idk if that was his choice or the label choice but that definitely fukked him over because that shyt was ANTICIPATED.........

then he had the drama mixtapes and still never made anything of it. yeah idk how that happened.

i could kind of say similar things about cassidy, when i think about it. i wasn't looking at it from people who fumbled the bag perspective tho.
