that Panthers trade might've set a new precedent for trading up that's effectively ruining multiple drafts if you don't hit. Even if Young does pan out as being a generational toddler sized QB... if they don't hit on all the other picks in the next 2-3 drafts, that GM's getting bushed.
The worst part of that trade was going all in on a weaker prospect than the top QB of this draft. They could have stayed where they were and tanked for Caleb.
They put Bryce on a bad team and now they don't have the draft capital to improve. Should have sat him until he had better talent around him.

Historically, Charlotte is a place that FA's simply do not want to go... nor stay if the option for greener pastures presents itself.

You better hope Justin Herbert's numbers don't nose dive without Keenan and a true #1.
