Caleb...only because it's viewed that Poles already failed at QB with Fields so if Caleb has even a "bad" rookie year Poles is probably out of there. I don't think any GM has ever got to QB3 when QB1 and 2 don't pan out.

Poles didn't draft Fields. Fields was drafted in 2021 and Poles became the GM in 2022.

If Ricky Pearsall didn't get picked by the Niners, he'd also be one that'd get a GM fired....Lynch has earned himself some grace with how many picks he's hit on since joining the franchise.

I think that most of the quarterbacks taken early in the 1st round of the draft, except for Drake May might end up being decent to good. Drake Maye looks too much like Mitch Tribisky to me and for New England's fans sake I hope that it works out for them.

Ryan Pace drafted Justin Fields in 2021. He was the Bears general manager from 2015-2021. Pace also drafted Mitch Tribustky. Pace is now in Atlanta.

Ryan Poles inherited Justin Fields. Poles didn't become the Bears GM until 2022.

That plus no GM is get fired for taking the unanimous, supposedly generational QB prospect at #1
