yea, I used to think it was about social level, class etc, but I've seen some chicks who come out of what we would consider well to do homes, both parents for the most part, raised in a house, not the projects or apartments......AND BE STRAIGHT UP HOODRATS!!!!!!..
I grew up in Compton and in the Slauson/Crenshaw area of South LA in the early 80's and 90's. I grew up around bonafide hoodrats. I grew into adulthood and thought all the black folks who lived in the suburbs or were a lil well off couldn't be HOOD. Boy I was wrong. Some of the worst girlfriends I've had were suburban hoodrats heauxz......on the flip I had a very dope, chocolate chick who lived in the Jungles, where they filmed Training Day and she was so sweet, and loyal. I just effed that up....long story short STAY AWAY from HOODRATS!!!
