Avon and Joe were the most dangerous characters on the show. Joe was so dangerous and sneaky that my nikka Avon hated his guts and threatened to peel that nikka cap in public at that basketball game

Avon was so strong they had to constantly find multiple ways for him to not re-rise to the top. His loyalty to his family was his biggest weakness and he paid for it in season one... and my nikka suffered for it til season 5

Slim Charles never had Marlo's crew on the ropes. They just got the drop on them one time. Charles had Cutty helping him during season 3 until Cutty retired, and even then Avon kept hiring out of organization help because his nikkas kept getting clipped off. And this is even before Marlo's organization expanded. This was before Mike, O-Dogg, and others came on and were trained by Marlo and Snoop.

Slim Charles was scared of Marlo and his crew, that's why he adviced Bodie to leave him be. Prop Joe had to use Marlo's muscle to get rid of NY nikkas taking over their turf, and Slim Charles was his muscle then. Charles was a shooter but he wasn't anywhere near the level of Marlo's crew.

Slim was muscle for hire, real hitter. even during the war when he spoke to bodie. Slim was still hitting off his own package,

This sounds good but Avon was done, he was on his second strike, he had nothing left but his name and maybe some out of state connects. Daniels and his crew destroyed his organization to the core. If he got out , so what? You think he would risk a third strike and be in prison forever ? The most he could do would be to leave the country and set up shop in the islands , get a real market , he was done in Baltimore . Also he asked for short money for his sister who you remember was taking care of Bey family at the time. She said the money had run out and that she didn't care of Bey spoke since he didn't know what she knew. He was broke all he did was take care of his sister , he was not playing a mastermind who would have the town on lock again. Also the Greek would never work with a guy that hot. The base case for him would be in another country, coming home and you got Slim in charge now, you think he just going to step aside now Avon home again or the Co-op bowing down? Avon was a great character but he was no Vonda's or Greek kingpin.

Unrealistic in that Prop Joe would never be dumb enough to outline his entire operation to a young wolf like Marlo. Unrealistic in that as cautious as Vondas Spiros/The Greek was in season 2 they'd never work with a random guy off the street like Marlo just because he brought them money.

Marlo was meant to be "that dude" so the writers made it happen. It didn't seem natural at all. They even made the cops at their lowest point during his rise to power so he'd be virtually unopposed.

The greeks didnt give a fukk about working with a vilotile/hot person they kept everybody in check, the Greeks didn't trust Joe anymore after Joe let Omar jack the shipment, they lost trust in Joe

Because they have the most proficient shooters and Marlo was ruthless and a sociopath. Chris and Snoop were the most proficient shooters and they trained Mike and O-Dogg, and others to be just as accurate.

Btw, Simon said Chris was in the military but they never got a chance to put that into the show.

They dropped hints of Chris being some special type of army soldier, all over the show

True.. BUT it wasn't Stringer call to make.. and it was a bad call... D ate the charge.. If he was gonna snitch.. he would've snitched before he got sentenced when Mcnulty was trying to get him to crack.. he refused to cooperate while looking at 10 to 20... and even if he woulda snitched when Avon when he was responsible for the tainted drugs getting moved into the prison, D had no proof or evidence.. And what kills me even to this day is the fact that nikkas forget

and also that fowl nikka was fukkin D baby mom on the low too (was it on the low? I cant remember).. String was a shady dirty nikka, obviously and I believe (and I could be reaching) that he had D killed just so he could openly have a relationship with D baby momma without any backlash, because nikkas was bound to find out what he was doing behind D back
