9 minutes of nothingness. The real answer is the majority of Mexicans in LA see white as a social status and hope that one day their families can be white enough to enjoy the “American” dream… the one where you’re in control of everyone else’s nightmare while you live worry and problem free.

They want to pick and choose when they are affiliated with blackness, but don’t want anyone discussing the parts of their culture that originated in Africa, so they keep us in a use when needed status.

Just look at the comments on a Mexican page under a video about a lot of their foods having African origins.

Looks like a lot of deflecting. blacks and mexicans can kick it together 24/7, but when its time to handle business, mexicans looking out for theirs exclusively. As it should be for all races. Somehow black people are stuck on looking out for others 1st.

They could've summed it up by saying that in 1996 when they had The Black Latino Roundtable or whatever they called his the essays wasn't really intrerested because they saw where their numbers were going so instead of sharing power they want all the power.

I’ve said it before on this board. The miseducation of brehs when approaching Latin America is extrapolating American racial politics to that region.

Their casta system or racial classifications were completely different so all this “one boat stop, we’re all the same” only makes sense to liberal American Latinos. It’s makes zero sense to new arrivals. Now you might ask why their system matters is simple. They’ve brought it to the United States and employ it without hesitation.

Add that to latinadad which is a general code of supporting other Latinos at all costs has been adopted socially amongst American Latinos. It’s extending politically. One of the politicians they shytted on was Cuban. He broke code :francis:

What this means for black Americans? Nothing. It doesn’t matter. The transfer of whiteness is past tense. It’s not in the future. It already happened. There’s nothing to be done except to make sure your kids know Spanish in the future. They don’t carry the racial baggage/guilt of white Americans in relation to black Americans. They genuinely don’t care.

Go try to open up a black owned business in a "liberal american latino" community. Or even try and get hired in a latino owned business. Where I live its not happening at all.. Maybe you can share some experiences where you live.

I *live in San Diego where on paper, Hispanics make up 30% of the population. In reality a lot of them claim white on documents OR are undocumented.

All that text doesn’t match reality. I’m not going to dive into my background here, but you’re way off. Way, way off. Hispanics do classify by appearance. There are Paisas, Oaxacans, Mestizos, Guera(o)s, Morena(o)s, etc. All of those are based on how Native, European or African you APPEAR.

Are you arguing that in LA all Mexicans are holding hands singing songs and it’s peace and love across the spectrum? If that’s your argument, you couldn’t be any more incorrect.

Besides that, I’ve been to several Central American countries including, Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala. Either you don’t know, trying to soften the blow or just straight up lying.

Posting the comment section of a random social media post in a thread about politics?

How are the two things related?
Those comments are responses from Hispanics telling their own people how hateful they are to black people. Listen to the interview in the OP and understand how edited that interview is. The woman being interviewed opens up by talking about the divide.

In the leaked audio, the scumbags pointed out Latino council member(s) who were "with the Blacks".

They're with the blacks until they get what they want.. Thats how politics/business usually works. Im looking at how they move here in Chicago politics.. You can trust them, im not.
