What kind of tablet do you have?

I got the 2020 ipad pro. that shyt is a beast, and I don't see it being replaced anytime in the forseeable future. prior to that, I had 1st gen ipad mini, which lasted like 8 years before it wouldn't update anymore and became unsable.

iPad mini 6. The best tablet I’ve ever owned. Perfect size for reading, writing notes, browsing web, watching YouTube/Netflix. I’m hoping Apple update it this year with 120mhz, oled screen and M2 chip.

The iPad Mini 6 is from 2021 so it's unlikely to get an update this year. The last 3 generations have been at least 2-3 years apart.
4 = 2015
5 = 2019
6 = 2021
1, 2, and 3 were all a year apart but especially 2 and 3 were pretty much the same hardware except Touch ID was added.

A guy sold me the Tab A 8.4 (2020) and on Otterbox Defender for $50. The tablet is in mint condition due to that case but the screen protector on it was done. I've used it to read manga and comics. That's about all its good for but it excels at that. The processor is so bad it can't really multi-task. Probably use it at the gym on the treadmill.

Landed an open box 128GB Tab S8+at Best Buy for $505 after tax. I think I'm gonna dump this iPad Pro from 2018. I usually update my tablets within 4 years and getting that smaller Android Tab A convinced me I want an Android tablet with better specs. Going from 12.9 to 12.4 is no bother. That OLED display puts the iPad to shame it's so crisp and sharp.

Thank goodness I buy every other year. Tab s9 ultra is due next month with the Fold 5.
