What kind of tablet do you have?

Thank goodness I buy every other year. Tab s9 ultra is due next month with the Fold 5.

A tablet is mostly a media consumption device for me. Are there really enough meaningful upgrades on them for bi-annual purchases? I've mostly gone about 4 years minimum between iPads. my iPad Pro from 2018 still works well. Just got the tab S8+ last summer so I doubt I upgrade unless it's to downsize to a Tab S9 (not the plus) if the 11 inch model gets an OLED screen.

Ideally I want a 8-10.5 inch tablet with an OLED 120Hz screen and a flagship processor. It's something Samsung won't make though. I'd settle for an 11 inch.

It's so silly that my 2018 iPad Pro still gets updates to iOS including 17 but so many of these android tablets even ones from Samsung like the Galaxy Tab S6 from 2019 is stuck on an Android version from 2021.

google just cracked that. you know pixels gets 5 years minimum

Just got back from Best Buy..they showed me. Battery life didn't seem.great..no stylus...11 inch too? Nah

Just got a 128GB Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 off a grandma for $50 on Facebook Marketplace. I'm probably trading this is cause they give $300 for them on Samsung's site off a new tablet.

Smart move. Tablet choices in the US are pretty bad if you aren't buying an iPad or $800+ Samsung unit. Way more options abroad.

Yup. Paid $320 while Amazon is selling last year's model for $370.

Had to manually install Play Store but it's pretty straightforward.
