In cash?!

I did by increasing my net worth this year but for my free flowing cash:

- Checking: $6125
- Savings: $20750
- Health Savings Account: $9,203.09 ($8000 in investments but very liquid)

I also have some cash for side hustle stuff I've been doing but I'm not factoring that. Also a few thousand from some company stock that vested and I sold but I don't factor that in either.

This year I want to increase my net worth, work on more side ideas but I need to really focus on my current role to get promoted. I was given an 8% promotion early last year which I worked hard for and my last meeting with my boss asked "How can I help you get to the next level?" I'd be on the highest part of the payband then so I wanna get some certifications to back my knowledge.

I think I honestly have too much cash on hand right now and may buy some gold or silver as a hedge. It's just a currency exchange.
