I have over nearly 820k overall debt that requires servicing.

It’s not about how much money on hand you have..it’s about how money you have on hand right then, right now versus your debt. I’d go bankrupt if one or two banks called shyt in or my credit will implode if I missed a few payments. Stop thinking like a young buck. This virus shyt fukked up my money making for 2020 and I made too much to get any of that stimulus shyt..I’m uncomfortably good but I’m not rich by any stretch of the imagination.

Money Market Account: $11000 <it took me over six years to save that and I’m ashamed because it could be much more

I have a problem with spending and have done better over the past two years but like most people I look back at what I’ve spent money on and I’m ashamed. I should have at least $5000 a year saved and then still pad a little more on top of that.

I’m also a county worker so I have to contribute to a pension plan. I’ve been with the county for four years, if not I probably wouldn’t have taken my retirement savings seriously. If I could access that I have about $35000 before the IRS eats a big chunk if I cash it in.
